IET would like to thank its patrons, sponsors and philanthropists for their support and collaboration. Contributions from individuals and organisations enable us to continue to develop and share our work. We are passionate about what we do and what we have achieved so far. In 2012 we have began to expand to audiences further afield in Italy and are now are looking to do productions in the UK and other parts of Europe. If you are interested in becoming involved as a sponsor or philanthropist of IET, please contact us.
FACT:
Ticket sales cover less than half the costs associated with producing live theatre.
Historically theatre companies have relied on government subsidies to balance their budgets, sadly, those subsidies are gradually disappearing. Theatre benefits a community socially and culturally. Numerous international studies* prove theatre boosts an individual’s motivation to be civically engaged, stimulates a local economy, and increases awareness.
*Costello 1998; Dolan 1995; Dreeszen 1992; Fritschner and Hoffman 1984; Krieger 2001;
Matarasso 1997; Matzke 2000; Murphy 1995; Ogilvie 2000; Preston 1983; Trent 2000; Wollheim 2000
IET needs the community to help bridge the gap so we can provide our artistic team with the necessary resources and keep ticket prices affordable for you, your family and friends.
